Labor Day Fun....Better late than never :)

Apparently Chloe thinks her mission in the backyard is to tree all the squirrels.....

And she also thinks she can chew the tree down to get to the quick little things......

She is as crazy as a dog can get, but she is still sweet and precious. We have been cleaning out the computer room/junk room so the baby will actually have somewhere to sleep :) Since the room is usually shut off, Chloe has really enjoyed being able to lay in there. I think she will be a good "guard dog" for Raisi!

We went to Dallas over Labor Day for a QUICK trip. We left town around 2:30pm on Saturday (since Chris had to work late) and everything was going great....until....we met the State Trooper!! Christopher was going a little fast down the interstate--81 in a 70--and was issued his first speeding ticket. I was so proud :)

We slowly made it the rest of the way and got to Dave & Busters in time to play some games. Dave & Busters is a huge arcade for kids (young and old). The rest of the crew was already there waiting on us....The Balls, Cheshiers, Tim, Sarah, Alex, mom and dad. We had fun spending some moolah and scoring some great stuffed animals for baby Raisi.

Sunday morning we got up and headed to Six Flags. I didn't think it was really THAT hot so I thought I would be good to go. NOT. If you are as hot natured as I am, do not go to Six Flags in the summer while pregnant. Definitely not the smartest thing I've ever done. Also the fact that the only ride I could get on was the carousel and I am a BIG roller coaster fan, so it was a bit boring. Some of the rides were closed down, but everyone had a great time and it was worth it!

Raisi's first trip to 6 Flags

Alex's first ride at 6 Flags. He loved it. Whenever a ride would end he would say "one more"

Enjoying the carousel with Uncle Chris

Chris and Bekah waiting in line...for like an hour!

Alex and I "chillin" waiting on everyone to get off a ride

Dad and Alex getting in a quick nap during the day

He made the day a little bit better!

This was how I felt about the day (and I'm not real sure what Chris is doing). My sweet man did go buy me a misting fan from a gift shop which was a great help to beat the heat!!

Alex is just so stinkin' cute! He was loving riding this train with Grammy

After we had all the heat we could take, Chris and I headed to Tim and Sarah's to cool off and went to eat with them at the California Pizza Kitchen...which is Chris' favorite restaurant so far in Dallas. We left town around 9:00pm Sunday night to head back home since he had to be at work bright and early Monday morning. I drove most of the way and....20 troopers later.....we made it home safely!!
